Taking place at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium’s Great Hall on Saturday, October 1, our Viva Las Priestfield-themed night will provide a fantastic evening of entertainment while also raising funds for a worthwhile cause.
Our last fundraising dinner, held in 2014, raised over £75,000 for the charity, and with your help we’re hopeful of raising more this time around!
An interactive auction will be one of the highlights of the evening, with once-in-a-lifetime lots on offer. A full list will be revealed in due course and bids will be accepted online from a week in advance, so anybody unable to make this fundraising event will have a chance of securing these highly sought-after prizes.
Take Heart Mercy Mission was developed and launched by club chairman Paul Scally, surgeon Conal Austin and cardiologist John Simpson in 2012, with the aim of saving lives and passing on expertise to medical teams in Sri Lanka treating young heart patients.
Money raised from this fundraising evening will allow a dedicated group of volunteer surgeons, doctors and nurses from the Evelina London Children’s Hospital in London to save the lives of many hundred babies and children by performing intricate and complicated operations in the Asian country.
